Ilanot [Fruit Trees]
Three sculptures are situated in the gardens surrounding the Ulpana School in Modi'in. The bench sculptures' design consists of motifs representing indigenous Land of Israel fruit trees – Tamar [dates], Tirosh [grapes] and Yitzhar [olive oil].
The plant motif is typical to coins from the Hasmonean period, with which Modi'in is historically associated.
